I have lived in Effingham County for 40 years. I graduated from Effingham County High School in 1992. I taught sixth grade ELA at ECMS for 14 years before becoming the Media Specialist. I was the competition/football cheerleading head coach for ten years, but retired from that in 2019. I enjoy drawing, photography, technology, the beach, online shopping, bird watching, and I want to learn to knit. I have been married to my husband, Glenn, for 26 years, and we have a son, Skylar, who is twenty-two. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors in Music Education. He currently lives in Covington, GA where he teaches music at Livingston Elementary School. He is also the assistant band director for the Eastside High School marching band. We have one dog named Kash (Kashie), one and two cats named Charlie and Zsa Zsa (Zsazie).
