ECMS DESTINY DISCOVER CATALOG
You may have to log into Destiny to access Lightbox and Ebook titles. You can do this in the upper right corner of the screen by using your lunch number as your username and password OR by using your district gmail account. For Lightbox Titles in Destiny In the search menu, type in "lightbox". You will notice double titles. One of the titles is the "hardcopy" and one is the "electronic" copy. Please double click and find the copy that has "open" in the top corner as seen in the image below.
**Note the first page of books shows "in". These are not accessible for some reason, please click the "next" arrow to scroll to the next ten books--this is where the Lightbox titles will begin. Double Click on the title you want, and see image below to see where you can go to open the book.
**Some Lightbox titles also have a link at the bottom of the folder (like ebooks) that allow you to open it there as well (if "Open" isn't available). You can see the link at the bottom of this picture as well)
SORA EBOOKS
All students have access to ebooks. These are availableall year long (include summer). Students should go to INTERNAL LINK www.soraapp.com, (allow location services), choose "ECMS" , and then log in with their district gmail account. Students may check out three books at a time. Books expire in two weeks unless you renew.

Marti Smith
Biography
I have lived in Effingham County for 38 years. I graduated from Effingham County High School in 1992. I taught sixth grade ELA at ECMS for 14 years before becoming the Media Specialist. I was the competition/football cheerleading head coach for ten years, but retired from that in 2019. I enjoy drawing, photography, technology, the beach, online shopping, and I want to learn to knit. I have been married to my husband, Glenn, for almost 25 years, and we have a son, Skylar, who is twenty-one. He is attending the University of Georgia studying Music Education. He is a fourth-year baritone in the Redcoat Marching Band. of Additionally, he is a member of the Basketball Pep Band. He plays Euphonium, Tuba, and Trombone. I am a new fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, but we are still fans of the University of South Carolina as well! We have two dogs, Ollie and Olive, one cat named Pooka and a feral cat which we feed that I have named Mellow!

Cindy Ragan
Biography
I am a Georgia native and a graduate of the ECHS class of 1987. I have been married for 33 years and have two children. I am an active member of Mizpah Church in Clyo and a member of the choir there. I am an animal lover and enjoy reading, watching movies, doing crafts, and home improvement projects. I am especially suited for my job in the ECMS Media Center due to my love of people, books, and learning!

Biography
I moved to Effingham County in 1995 the summer before starting 6th grade. I am a graduate of South Effingham High School, class of 2002 (Go Mustangs!). I attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College where I studied Early Childhood Education. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Aaron, for 19 years. We have three children, Aeralyn (18), Hadley (11) and Heath(6), as well as lots of furbabies! I enjoy reading, camping, fishing, shopping, playing with my dogs, swimming, and spending time with my family. I have worked in Effingham County school system, for a combined total of 7 years. I love working at ECMS as the Technology Assistant. I have learned so much about technology and I enjoy providing support to both the staff and the students at our school.
