I'm originally from Brandon, Florida. I also lived in Asheville, NC, but I've been in the Savannah area for 25 years. I went to Armstrong (AASU) for my undergrad and Fielding Graduate University for my Masters and Doctorate. In my personal time, I love to paint, write, and sing on the worship team at church. I was fortunate to have a great education and several inspiring teachers. I always knew I wanted to teach and started "playing school" at a young age. My students would say that I have too many "sayings" to name just one, and I'm known to speak in a variety of accents, if that's what gets their attention. I taught my first two years in Bryan County, the next ten years at Guyton Elementary School, and I've been at ECMS for eight years now. I'm currently teaching computer science to grades 6-8. In addition, I teach a yearbook class, have a student club that produces The Panther Prowl News show, and I try to teach students to create, not just consume technology.
